Christmas 2011

This year for Christmas Eve, we didn't have a lot going on.  We ended up eating at McDonald's. :)  We came home and the kids got to open one present.... their pajama's.

Dewey asked if I would take a picture of his pajama's on the floor.  :)

This was the best picture I could get of all 3 of the kids.  Hank didn't feel like sitting up.

Hallie woke up at 12:30 and we had to tell her to go back to bed.  Then Dewey woke up about 5:30.  I think we finally ended up opening presents around 7:00.

It didn't take Hank very long to find the candy canes.  I think he may have eaten some of the plastic as well.
This Christmas was very busy!!  Grandma and Grandpa Diaz came over in the morning and ate breakfast with us, we went to church at 11:00, visited Great Grandma Diaz, ate again about 3 o'clock and played "Just Dance" with the Packer's and finally made our last stop at the McBride's.  It was a busy, but fun day.

Holiday Parties

This picture was actually taken on a Sunday, 2 weeks before Christmas.  The kids had their new Sunday clothes on and I wanted a picture.  Poor Dewey had just burnt his fingers on my curling iron and Hank has his usual grumpy face.  Although we had our Sunday morning chaos, I was determined to get a picture.  :)
We had our Packer family party first.  All of the kids drew names and bought their cousins a present.
 Cassie and Bentlee

We tried to get the younger girls to sing for their presents, but that didn't work out so well.

The McBride family party was next.  We put together a last minute Nativity with the younger kids.  Kenneth was Joseph, Hallie was Mary and Kylee was an Angel.  Don't you love Mary's fur coat?  :)
Dewey, Aedan and Sayer were the three wise men.
 Tasha was the Narrator.
After the Nativity and singing, Santa made an appearance.  Hank was a little scared, so Grandpa helped out.  It was a lot of fun getting together with both families and visiting with them.

Jazz Basketball

This is the first year that Hallie has ever played Jazz Basketball.  At first she didn't know if she wanted to play and she was a little nervous.  I am so glad that she made the decision to play because she absolutely loves it!  She is always asking her Dad to take her to the church, so she can shoot baskets.
Hallie is #15 on her team.  Why is it so hard to get a good picture in the gym??

Waiting her turn to get back into the game.

I hope Hallie continues her love for Basketball.  She is a lot of fun to watch!

Happy Halloween

Halloween was filled with lots and lots of parties for our family.  Between school, dance, preschool, family parties and trunk or treating, we were pretty busy.
Hallie was a gypsy.  This was a costume that I wore in 7th grade for a play that I was in.  We had to make a few adjustments.
 Dewey was an Alien.
Hank was a Monster.  This was a very fitting costume for this boy.

We had the annual Packer party at my parents house. Hank wasn't very happy in this picture.  He didn't want his costume on and he was hitting Dewey and Hallie.
 Publisher Clearing House "Prize Patrol".
My sister Deena and her family were Kiss.  They looked amazing!! She is always so creative when it comes to Halloween.
My niece Cassie and her family were Popeye, Olive and I think Sweet Pea?
Loved seeing my Dad in tights.  We were commenting on what nice legs he has.  :)
My Aunt Anita was a die.  There were many others that I didn't get pictures of.

Hallie was trying to take a picture of herself and I stole the camera from her.
Dewey with his preschool teachers Miss Jackie and Miss Cathy.
The day before Halloween was Sean's Birthday.  He is now 34 years old.  I had to take a picture of the banner the kids made for his Birthday.  We had to hurry and make it while Sean was in his Sunday meetings.  Gotta love the kids faces.  Notice the D.  That is the one letter that Dewey helped with.  I love it.
