Another Trip to Island Park

This last weekend, we were invited to go to the Martin's family cabin with Ryan and Noel, Rick and Jane Tew and Will and Kathy. We left on Friday night and came back home on Monday night. Here are all of the kids that were there. They all got along really well. Which makes for a nice trip!

We went sledding at a place Ryan and Noel call "sled hill". I just have to say thanks to grandma and grandpa Mcbride for watching Dewey and Jet!

I thought this was a funny picture of Hallie coming down off of a little bump.

Rick and Avery had a lot of fun taking everyone back up the hill. Thank goodness for snowmobiles!!

We also had the "Cat Cutter" to take us up. Rick brought this up and the kids really had fun riding in it.

As well as the adults! Ryan took Sean for a pretty wild ride through the trees in it.

We had a lot of fun with everyone. We always have a good time with Ryan and Noel, no matter what we are doing! I think our snowmobiling days are coming to an end. We have one more trip planned in March with Sean's family. Hopefully there will still be some good snow. I think we will be staying home for a while, so our ward doesn't put us on the inactive list:)

Valentines Day

For Valentines day this year, we were invited to my sister in laws family cabin in Island Park. They recently added on a huge family room to their cabin. It is really nice and makes a big difference to their cabin. Here is Hallie holding her new Leapster game.

Dewey got a Dinosaur that lights up and says "roarrrr".

Sean got a shirt and some candy.

I just had to write down, what the card says that Sean got me. The outside says " To My Wife on Valentine's Day: Honey, I hope you know that all of your hard work has not gone unnoticed". The inside says "I've been watching you from the couch during commercials". This card couldn't be more true! He did go on to say how thankful he is and that he loves me:)

Sledding Fun

Just behind the Anderson's cabin, is a little trail that their family likes to sled on. So, we bundled up the kids and went outside.

Usually Dewey is begging us to go outside, but this day he was crying to go inside. I guess he was scared of all of the snow and also the snowmobile.

We started to go down the hill, but didn't get to far. It had snowed about 4 inches of fluff the night before.

Sean sat at the top of the hill with Dewey. Eventually he realized that the snow wasn't all that bad.

I debated wether or not to add this picture because I look so hot. Eventually we started to pack down the snow and we went a little faster.

Finally, we got some smiles out of Dewey.

Notice how nice and smooth the snow is now? If you know my brother Doug and what a perfectionist he is, that is why. He went and got a shovel and smoothed it all out.

Sean finally got Dewey to go down the hill with him. I don't really know if he liked it or not, but we were just happy that he wasn't crying anymore.

This last picture is of my nephew Rhett. He looked so cute sitting in the snow, I just had to take a picture. He was a pretty hard core sledder. He loved it! I'm sure some day he will forgive his mom for the Strawberry Shortcake boots that he was wearing. I guess that is what happens when you have an older sister.

1 down, 19 to go

Last night while we were getting ready for bed, Sean and I happened to notice just how loose Hallie's tooth really was. It was hanging on by a thread! Hallie decided that I could tie some floss around it and pop it out. She did really well until she saw the blood. She cried for a little while until we convinced her that bleeding was normal. When she finally calmed down, she was really excited and had to go look in the mirror. This is Hallie's new look.

This is what Hallie found under her pillow this morning. She couldn't wait to go to school and show all of her friends that she had lost a tooth. Her teacher let her wear the "I lost a Tooth" necklace today. Hallie told me tonight that she misses her tooth. We put it in a baggy after it came out and she didn't get a chance to hold it. I think whenever kids start to loose their teeth, it changes their appearance. They start to look so much older. This whole experience has made me kind of sad! It just reminds me of how big she is getting!!
