Easter

This year we ended up dying eggs with Doug and Marilee's family. The kids had a lot of fun with their cousins. I don't know if they had more fun dying eggs or helping themselves to Aunt Marilee's Easter candy.

This is the best picture I could get of the kids.

Hallie and Dewey went on a little hunt for their baskets and found them hidden in the bathtub. Having general conference on Easter worked out great. The kids ate some of their candy and played with their new toys. We were actually able to sit through one whole session of conference.

The kids loved their new zhu zhu pets. This one is Scoodles.

And this one is Jilly.

Later that day, we went out to my parents for dinner and the annual Easter egg hunt. We were pretty lucky that the weather cooperated.

Hallie ended up finding the egg with the 5 dollar bill inside. She really loves subway and the first thing that she said was "I want to buy a five dollar foot long". She's such a nerd.

3 Years Old

On March 28, Dewey turned the big 3 years old. We had a birthday party at my parents house to celebrate. I showed Dewey a picture of an ice cream cone cupcake and he decided that is what he wanted.

As you can see, he had plenty of help opening his gifts. It was a lot of fun watching Dewey open his presents. He was very animated and said the funniest things.

Sean decided to give it a try and trim Dewey's hair the night before his birthday. Dewey couldn't quit laughing. I guess it really tickled. He did pretty good for the most part, but there are certain areas that look a little choppy. It's hard to take him to a salon when his hair is still so thin.

Here he is after his trim.

This is a picture that Sean took of Dewey before they went to do some Electrical work on Sean's parents house. Dewey filled this little barn with all of his own tools. He loves spending time with his Dad and always wants to be with him. Dewey always says to Sean "we boys, huh Dad?". Sometimes I will be helping Dewey and he will say "your not a boy" and wants his Dad to come help him. It is especially great when he needs help wiping and doesn't want me to do it. :) He is a big teaser and a lot of fun to be around. We love being his parents!!
