Antelope 2013

Our second camping trip of the summer was to Iron Bog with the McBride's.  We haven't been camping with them in quite some time.  Will and Kathy bought a new 5th wheel and I think they just might want to go a little more often now.
Brianna and Hank enjoyed watching a movie with each other before going to bed.

We camped close to a creek and the kids had a lot of fun playing in the water.  Dewey and Sayer were busy digging.
Aunt Kandice brought crafts for the kids to do.
Loving Jake's poncho and over sized cowboy hat.  :)
Going on a walk with Grandpa.
We hiked up with all the families to see the caves.

Everyone tried to get the highest.

Poor old Liberty.  This just might be her last camping trip.  :(
Verda and the grand kids didn't want to take a chance and fall in the water.
Dewey found a little boy to race his motorcylce with.  Kylee started them off and planned out their races.
The 3 year old cheese balls.

Pocatello Fun Run Series

Law Day
My friend Annie, her son Caden, and Me all ran the 5k in the Law Day fun run.  This was my very first race that I had entered.  It was the first race in a series of 5 races throughout the summer.  My finish time was 33:10.  Not too bad for my first race.  :)

10 Years Old On the 10th

This year was Hallie's "Golden Birthday".  She turned 10 on the 10th.  Hallie spent most of her day at a Basketball camp.  We had a little party for her that night.
She picked this cake for her Birthday.  It was DELICIOUS!!

We made her walk outside with her eyes closed and this is what she found.  She really wanted a bigger bike.
Grandma McBride took Hallie and her good friends Kymber and Tylar to Ijump and Red Robin.
They also went to the mall and they all bought matching glasses.  They had a lot of fun together!  I can't believe Hallie is now 10!  She is growing so fast.  She now wears a 9 1/2 shoe in women's and is almost ready to get braces.

Soccer

Dewey decided he wanted to try playing soccer this year.  They have 3 boys and 2 girls on their team.  Between comments like "I don't need any girls helping me" and Dewey kicking his shoe off during the game, they are a lot of fun to watch.

From left to right: Shelby, Ziggy, Dewey, Sayer, and Brooklyn.

Dewey and Sayer have a lot of fun being on the same team.
Dewey is usually asking for a water break.  Those 20 minute games take it right out of you. :)
Sean and my brother in law Jake are coaching the team.

Last Day of School

This picture has absolutely nothing to do with the last day of school, but it is a pretty cute picture of "Hankie".
Dewey's last day was on a Thursday, one day before Hallie.  As you can see from the picture, Mrs. Green was having a rough time saying goodbye to her students.  She is such an awesome teacher and the kids all love her!!  As soon as we got out into the car and drove away from the school, Dewey starting crying.  It was so sad!  He probably cried for a good 20 minutes.  He really didn't want to leave his teacher.
After Hallie got out of school on Friday, we took the kids to the Pocatello Zoo.

Dewey asked me to take his picture and this was his pose.  :)

The Pocatello Zoo only has animals that live in Idaho.
The new Grizzly Bear exhibit was really cool.  We walked up and saw the bear playing in the water.
Here is the bear chewing on a deer leg.

The kids had fun playing in the tree house and going down the slide.  We also took them to Pizza Pie Cafe and ate way too much.

We recently discovered a raccoon in our neighborhood and found out that it lives in our neighbor's chimney.  If you look at the very top of the chimney on the far right, you can see it poking it's head up.  It usually starts peeking out around 8 in the evening, just waiting for everyone to go to bed.  Not sure if the neighbor's will do anything about it, but we are having a lot of fun watching it.  :)

SR Graduation 2013

My beautiful nieces, Brandee and Paige graduated this year.  I haven't been to a graduation in years and it was a lot of fun.
Brandee is off to bootcamp in July and will graduate from that in November.  After that, she will be headed to the Army.  She will be an "Ammunition Specialist" while she goes to school to become a Doctor.
Paige is still trying to figure out just what she wants to do.  :)
I used to babysitt these two all of the time.  I feel so old looking at this picture.
