Lagoon and Hill Aerospace Museum

We recently took a little overnight trip to Utah with Grandma and Grandpa Diaz.  The first day we went to Lagoon for the day.  We took turns taking the kids on different rides.

This was the first ride that Hank went on.  He absolutely loved it!!  Every time they passed, he had a huge smile and we could hear him laughing.

Hallie, Dewey and Grandma went on this ride two times.  They thought it was really funny that they squished Grandma.

Hank "drove" this car all by himself.  He thought he was such a big boy.

The second day we went to the Hill Aerospace Museum.
As you can see, Hank wasn't in a very good mood this day.  :)

Sitting in the flight simulators.

The kids were able to build a rocket and then they got to go outside and launch them.  Hallie's rocket is now a permanent display on top of the building at the museum. :)
Dewey's landed back down on the ground and he was able to keep it.

Big 8 Mile Campground

The 3rd weekend in August, we took a trip to Leadore with the Tew's and Palmer's.  We were the first to arrive, so we picked a camp spot and hung out until everyone arrived.
There was a creek that ran through the campground and the kids spotted this fish.
The kids did a lot of motorcycle riding!!
Hank isn't too happy with us in this picture. :)
We found this huge rock and Sean wanted to see if he could climb it.

Hank spent a lot of time running through the dirt.
The kids had fun using this water pump.  It even had a little drinking fountain on the other side.
The Tew's were the next to arrive.  Sean and Ryan got busy chopping fire wood.  All of the kids were good helpers and carried the wood back to the pickup.

Noel had to leave and go back to Leadore to work on her computer for a few hours(that is why she isn't in the picture).
Sean made this poster for Ryan and hung it in a tree in our campground.  It's a personal joke between Sean, Jason, and Ryan. :)

We took a little ride on the motorcycles and four wheeler to these old mining cabins.

We ended up taking swimsuits because we were going to go to a Hot Springs until we figured out just how far away it was.  The kids decided to swim anyway.  This water was FREEZING!!

This is the "Men" before their big ride.

We all loaded up for a ride and Diego followed us the whole way.

This is the whole group.  It had been 10 years since we all went camping together.  8 kids later, and we finally found the time to go again.  :)
