Island Park and Cross Country Skiing

We recently took a trip with the McBride family to the Davis cabin in Island Park.  We took the kids sledding and drove them around on the snow machine's.  Hank's favorite was being pulled around in his little tube.

Amy and the kids were waiting for a ride back up the hill.
Scary driver!
Saturday morning, all of the adults went to Harriman Park to cross country ski.  This was my second time and Sean's first.  Besides being cold, it was a perfect day.

We had a good laugh at each other throughout the day.

Breanna, Sari and Hank were screaming at the top of their lungs up in the loft.
They were being a little too quiet and I had to go investigate.  Breanna and Sari had taken their shirts off and they were all getting into Paige's makeup bag.  Luckily, Hank just had it on his mouth and not his clothes.  At least the girls took their shirts off first.  :)

Kandice helped the older kids play their own version of Rummikub.

We had a lot of fun!

Christmas Break

During the kids Christmas break, we made plans with my sister Dawnette and her kids to pull each other around on sleds.  Here is Paige and Dewey waiting to get going.

Hallie and Shaylee

Dawnette looking oh so sexy.  :)
I pulled Sean and Dawnette around.  Sean ended up falling off at one point and Dawnette ran over him.  The kids complained that the parents took too long of a turn.  :)

Christmas 2012

We started out with a McBride family party.  We had a dinner and sang songs while waiting for Santa.  Hallie brought her keyboard and played jingle bells for us.

It didn't last long, but Hank sat on Santa's lap.

We also had a Packer family party.  The younger cousins had a gift exchange and the adults bought 10 dollar gifts.

Here are the kids on Christmas Eve.  Hank did very well at opening his presents this year.  They got the usual pajama's and an ornament.

Everyone in their new pajama's.  Hank had an ear infection and wasn't very happy.

As usual, we had a very good Christmas.  The kids were very spoiled and we are very blessed for all that we have.
