Trip to the Corn Maze with Hank's preschool

Once again, Hank's preschool went to the corn maze.  He stood in his class picture this time and even hung out with his buddy Ryder.

Hank's favorite part of all was this tractor/bucket ride.

Mom's Retirement Party

My Mom retired this year after 35 years with the Snake River school district.  We planned a surprise party at Tommy Vaughn's.  Here she is walking into the room.

I made her a retired banner to wear for her party.

Paisley Cakes made this cake.  It turned out pretty cute with all of the fondant cleaning supplies.

The whole group minus David, Sean, Jeff, and Dave.  They couldn't make it, but we decided to go ahead and have it anyway.

First Day of School 2014

Dewey is in Mrs. Taylor's 2nd grade class.

Here is Hallie standing in front of the 6th grade school.  Her class had already started and I didn't want to embarrass her by taking her picture with her teacher.  Her teacher is Mr. Miles.

Hank's 2nd year at Smallworld preschool.  His teachers are Miss Jackie and Miss Cathy.  He is a whole new kid this year!  He walks in to preschool by himself and he actually let me get a picture with his teachers.

Labor Day weekend in Sawmill

We spent Labor Day weekend with my parents and Doug and Dawnette's family at Sawmill.

The kids caught a frog in the creek.

Dewey was whining about getting his riding boots on and didn't want me to take his picture.  :)

We were on a ride and Hallie fell into some mud.  She was drenched on her left side.

Austin has been growing his hair out for a mullet, so I decided to french braid it.

Most of the men went on a motorcycle ride, so Dawnette, Marilee, and I decided to take the kids on a hike.  They just happened to line up in height order.

We hiked up to an old cabin.

Dewey usually rides a 70 and here he is riding Hallie's 80.  It should be about perfect next summer.

Roxy

We have a new addition to our family.  Her name is Roxy and she is a sunfire hamster.  Hallie saved up her money and decided to get a hamster.

Bear Lake 2014

We had our annual Bear Lake trip with the Henscheid's in August.

 Grandma and Grandpa brought the tramp and the kids had fun playing on it.

 Sayer and Aeden couldn't talk Dewey into riding on the tube with them.  Maybe next year!

 Everyone sat on the tramp and on the count of 3, we all fell backwards.

Kathy rented a paddle board for the day.  They were a lot of fun.  Not sure what Hank is doing in this picture.  :)

Friend Camping Trip 2014

In August, we went to Diamond Creek with the Tew's and Palmer's.  We always have a lot of fun with our friends!!

 The kids had fun playing in a creek down from our camp site.

 We stopped to eat snacks along the trail on our rides.

 I loved having Jette ride with Hank and I.  She sang "I'm so fancy" and she told me she was looking for polar bears.  She also fell asleep.  :)

 Noel brought a game called Quirkle and everyone loved it.

 Ryan woke up from his nap to find all 4 women surrounding him.  :)

 We found a little cabin to look through.

 On our last day, we went on a ride where we had to cross this creek.  The kids figured out how fun it was to go through it fast and splash each other.  We spent a lot of time at this creek watching each other get wet.
