Bear Lake 2013

We recently went to Bear Lake with the Will McBride and Janet Henscheid family's.  We wasted no time going to the beach.

Katie was trying to tan her "white" stomach.
This is what Kathy had been waiting all year for.  Sitting on the beach and soaking up some sun.

Cute little Aiysha loved the water, but didn't want to get the sand on her.

The kids loved playing on the beach in the sand.
Once Kathy realized I was taking her picture, she wasn't to happy with me.  :)

Sean offered to bury Dewey in the sand and he agreed.  Once Dewey figured out that he couldn't move his arms, he didn't like it anymore.

Sayer decided he wanted to try skiing.  He forgot to let go of the rope and drug his face in the water for a little bit.  He decided he was done at that point.  Maybe next year.
Dewey and Hank were happy to just ride in the boat.
 Kylee and Brianna.
Grandpa McBride put together a watermelon eating contest with the younger kids.  Check out Jake's face.  He really wanted Sayer to win.  :)
I love how Dewey is bent over trying to keep his shirt clean and Hallie's cheek's look enormous.  Not long after this picture Dewey had to run to the garbage because his mouth was so full of watermelon and he was gagging.  :)

Hank didn't come close to finishing first, but he sure looked cute trying.

End of Soccer

Tonight was Dewey's final soccer game.  Sayer and Dewey had a lot of fun being on the same team together.
They also enjoyed having their Dad's as their coaches.
The whole team together holding their soccer medals.

Goodbye Brandee

Paige, me and Brandee.  This is a picture we took the day before Brandee left for boot camp in Oklahoma.  She will be there until the end of November.  :(  I am really going to miss seeing her at my parents house every Sunday, but I know she is going to kick butt in boot camp.  :)

2nd Annual Diaz, Tew, and Palmer Camping Trip

This year we ended up going with the Tew's and Palmer's to Sawmill Canyon.
We were the first to arrive, so we set up camp and just hung out.

The kids had a lot of fun riding their motorcycles around camp.  We also went on some big rides with everyone.

Heidi and Marlee.
This kids were very brave to put on their swimsuits and play in the water.  It was freezing!  I talked Avery into dipping her head in the water.

The adults had a little tournament of ladder ball.  I am happy to say that Sean and I were the winners.  :)
Hank put some swedish fish in the corners of his mouth and he said he was a walrus.
These three played really well together.  Cute kids!
This is all of our kids plus Treyton's friend Riley.
The Palmer family.
The Diaz family.
The Tew's.
Everyone all together.  We had a lot of fun and we can't wait until next year.

Lunch with the Mayor

Dewey was recently picked from his Tiger Cub Scout troop to have lunch with the Mayor of Blackfoot(Mike Virtue).  They started off by sitting in the city counsel's chambers and they got to ask the Mayor questions.  He talked to them about our city and how it is ran.  They got to go on a little tour of City Hall and sit in the Mayor's chair.  Parents were invited and we ended with lunch at the Elk's Lodge.  It was a lot of fun!

New Camp Trailer

We recently bought a new trailer.  It is a toy hauler and fits all of our bikes and 4-wheeler inside it.  It also has 3 queen beds.  We figured since we camp all summer, it was worth it.  We put our old one on ksl and it sold overnight.  It was kind of sad to see it pulling away from our house, but I am loving the new one.  :)

Diamond Creek 2013

On the week of the 4th of July, we went to Diamond Creek with my family.
Here are the teenagers doing what they do best.  :)
Everyone had fun playing in the creek next to our camp.

Dave decided to wash up and take a bath.  He is tough, because this water was pretty dang cold.

Loving Dewey and Hank's dance moves.

Of course we went on a lot of 4-wheeler rides and we had to stop and have a few snacks here and there.
This is a cave that some of us hiked up to.  It was pretty steep and that is why Hallie is crawling on her hands and knees.  :)
This is a picture I took from up in the cave.
The flowers were so beautiful!!  It seemed like every ridge had a different type of flower growing on it.

Grandma Packer brought plenty of glow sticks for everyone.

Paige just can't be without her music.

We found this old, dead tree and had to have a picture in it.  I especially liked how Jeff posed Hercule's up on a branch.
Dirty riding face.

It was a great week and we had a lot of fun.  We can't wait for our next camp trip!
