Monster Trucks

Sean and a few guys that he works with decided to take their boys to the Monster Truck show. They started off eating at the Golden Corral and then went a little early and met some of the drivers in the pit. Dewey had a really fun time. His favorite part was the truck that did a back flip.

Dewey turns 4

Dewey recently had his 4th Birthday. We had his Birthday party a day before his Birthday at my parents house. He was never real specific on a cake or type of dessert that he wanted, so I decided on sheet cake. He was really excited and asked me almost everyday for two weeks before if it was his Birthday yet.
He got a fishing pole and two new camping chairs. He wanted to keep both chairs, "in case Hankie needs to use one".
He got two Nerf guns. I think Sean and I have had more fun with these than Dewey. :)
An airplane.
He also got a new helmet for riding the 4-wheeler and also for riding with his Dad on the motorcycle. We took him the day before to Elmer's to try on helmets. He was pretty upset when we left the store without one.
I took this picture, just as Hank took a bite of ice cream. He's not used to cold food yet and he made this funny face.
This picture was taken the next day on his Birthday. It was a cold day and he really wanted to ride his new wiggle racer, so I cleaned up the garage and made space for him to ride it.
Who would have thought that it would snow on March 28th? I guess you never know in Idaho. I put all of their snow clothes away, thinking we wouldn't need them anymore. Wrong!
I put some food coloring in a spray bottle and it entertained them for hours.
Dewey chose McDonald's for his Birthday dinner.
We saved a couple of presents for him to open up on his actual Birthday. He was excited to have his very own Leapster.
We also went bowling that night. Here is a picture of Sean helping Dewey. It kinda looks like he is pushing him. :)

This is where Hank got to sit while we bowled. It was a pretty fun day. Happy Birthday Dewey!! We love ya!!

Island Park and Cross Country Skiing

In February, we were invited to the Andersen family cabin. We went with my siblings and their kids. We mostly sat around and enjoyed ourselves, while the kids played outside in the snow. It's always fun to get away from the "real world". Shaylee, Hallie and Gracie. I couldn't get them to just give me a normal smile. Nerds!
This is my nephew Gus. He and Hank had a lot of fun playing on the stairs.

Me, Marilee, Brandee, Deena, Paige and Dawnette posed for a picture before we headed out cross country skiing. Dont we look hot in our long johns? :) This was actually the reason for the weekend. None of us had ever been cross country skiing and we wanted to try it out.
So, we rented some ski's and headed to Harriman State Park. They have many different courses you can go on. We mostly stuck to the easy ones.

We were actually on a more advanced course for a while and it took us a while to realize it. This is not the greatest picture, but by going on a different course, we got to see some of the Trumpeter Swans.
It didn't take us long, before we all had our coats off.
Even though it was quite the workout, it ended up being a lot of fun. We had a lot of good laughs at each others expense. We would all like to go again. Of course, next time we would dress a little differently.

Hank Update

It's been a while since I have posted about Hank. He is almost 11 months old on the 13th of April. He has changed so much in the last few months and has learned so many things. He is such a happy baby and always has a smile on his face. This is a picture of him studying his hands, getting ready to clap.
Here he is mid clap. When he first learned to clap, he did it all of the time, but not so much anymore.
Hank loves to eat. He cries when his food is all gone.

We recently had new exterior doors put in and he loves to look out the front door and watch his big brother and sister.

He is now pulling himself up to a standing position and walking along the furniture.
I was washing the dishes and somehow he managed to climb up onto the dishwasher door. He loves everything about the dishwasher and crawls as fast as he can when he knows I am doing the dishes.
He loves to be outside, especially on a wagon ride. We are waiting for nicer weather so we can go outside more.
He also loves pushing himself around on the school bus.
Every once in a while, Hallie will put Hank in his crib to play. He loves it. He has yet to stand up in his crib when he wakes up. He just lays there until we come get him.
He has been crawling under the table a lot.
Here he is hanging out in our laundry/storage room. He pretty much crawls around the house exploring. It wont be long until he is running around the house. When did he get so big?

Kids Pictures

I have never been the greatest at getting my kids pictures taken. Dewey had pictures taken when he was 3 months old and then again at 2 years. I know, It makes me feel bad. So, I am trying to be better. Hank was due for some new pictures and I decided to take Hallie and Dewey along. I went to a lady in Idaho Falls. If you want to check her out, go to http://caraleephotography.blogspot.com/. She also took Hank's newborn pictures and she is awesome!! These are just a few. I don't know how we will decide. I love them all.

Love the gap between his front teeth!!
