Moab 2014

This year, the boys decided to invite the girls to Moab.  It was such a fun weekend with our friends!
Here we are riding in Jason's 69 suburban, on our way to our first trail ride.
Jason in his element.

Here is the suburban.  It is pretty sweet and we drove it everywhere.
Jason's new helmet mullet(courtesy of Sean).

I was trying to get a good picture of Jason's hair blowing in the wind.

We went to Moab the weekend of the car show.  There were classic cars everywhere and they would all cruise through town.  Here are the boys cruising.  We made sure to cheer them on as they drove by.
We all pitched in and had this shirt made for Ryan for his graduation present.  He gladly wore it for 2 days in a row.  Noel loved it! ;)
Saturday was pretty rainy and overcast, so we hiked in to Corona Arch.  Ryan was a little hot.

As we were sitting here, a mountain goat ran down the mountain past us.  It was too fast and I wasn't able to get a picture of it.
There were a couple of college kids from BYU-I getting ready to jump from the arch.  They ended up taking so long, that we didn't get to watch them jump.  You couldn't pay me to jump off this arch!!
We had SO much fun with our friends!!  We are grateful for grandparents that are willing to watch our children so we can go do things like this!!

Easter 2014

While Sean was at a meeting and Hallie was hanging out with a friend, the boys and I colored eggs.  I guess it wasn't very exciting, because Dewey was more than ready to go outside when we were done.

Waiting in the hall before we let them see their Easter baskets.
I guess the Easter Bunny ran out of spots to hide the baskets, so he just left them on the table this year.

All ready for church.  Man, my kids are getting big!

Hallie looks so pretty and grown up in this picture.  You would never guess she is 10, almost 11.
At my parents house, we like to cage the kids in the basement while the adults hide the eggs.  I think they were a little more than ready to go outside.

McBride's also had an easter egg hunt.  My kids were spoiled as usual.  So grateful for the nice weather that we had.

Derby Districts

Because Dewey won first place in his troop, he got to move on to districts.  His truck did pretty well and he took 1st place out of the Tiger Cub group.

Here is 1st, 2nd, and 3rd out of the Tiger Cubs.  Dewey was pretty excited to get a trophy!

Dewey's 7th Birthday

Dewey turned 7 years old on his Birthday this year.  He was so excited to see his gift, that he snuck out into the garage and peeked.

Here he is riding his new bike.
We went to Walmart the day before and Dewey picked out this ribbon that said Birthday Boy.  He wanted to wear it all day, so people would know that it was his Birthday.
He chose to eat at El Mirador and was really embarrased when they sang to him.
Dewey didn't want a cake.  He requested cupcakes and root beer floats.  Dewey is a pretty cool kid and we are glad he is ours!

Spring Break

The kids decided to have a sleep over every night during spring break.  Dewey got a new helmet for his Birthday and when I went to check on them, this is what I found.

Picnic on the tramp.

Girls Ski Trip

Starting out on the trail at Harriman Park.

Shaylee and Hallie had a fun time and kept right up with the older girls.

Photo bomb!
We had to laugh at Cassie for a little while before anyone helped her up.  Maybe she shouldn't have bombed my photo.  :)

Eating our lunch in the warming hut.
Fun trip with the girls!!
